What we do

Forecast sets up internal corporate prediction markets to help with strategic decision making and forecasting.

Work with your customer to pick a KPI (revenue, profitability, churn, etc.) and a date a few weeks or months in the future that you'd like to predict it. If they have a strategic decision to make, work with them to turn it into an A/B (or A/B/C) decision. Ask us to set up a market or a market pair, and when the market closes we'll give you beautiful graphics for your client report showing what their employees actually believe. When the market resolves, we calculate how much each employee is entitled to.

That's what we do for your clients. We also have a panel of experts — that means you — because some companies want to run a prediction market that includes external experts. Sometimes it's because the company is too small (with only a few employees the market might have biases); sometimes it's simply to get fresh eyes on the problem.

How prediction markets help your customers

A profitable tool in your toolkit

There are three ways to make money with Forecast.

  1. Trailing commission. We pay a generous trailing commission for customers you introduce to us.
  2. Premium reporting. Charge your clients for the unique insights and reports you build from the data we give you. Quantitative summary information of this kind is otherwise nearly impossible to acquire at scale — you can charge a premium for it.
  3. Panel forecasting. If you're on the panel and your skills match what a client needs, we'll send you tokens to use for predictions. There's no down-side: a wrong prediction costs you nothing; a right one earns windfall gains and serious bragging rights.
